June, 2006 - Mamma's don't let your babies grow up to be cowgirls!

I guess it just runs in the family. The minute Mack was put on her new saddle, she grabbed the horn, took hold of her pink lariat, and yelled "Yee Ha!". Well it sounded more like "da blah gah ma!", but we know what she meant.

I think we have quite the little cowgirl on our hands. Or should we say Grandpa Everett and Grandma Susans hands since they are the only ones who have any horses.

He is already planning for her "summer internship" on the ranch. You know, fixing fences, feeding the cattle, working the gate at brandings, maybe some roping with her pink lariat, etc., etc.
