April 1st, 2006 - Another Milestone: Food Face!

We are 100% confident that at least 25% of
Mackenzie's first meal of rice cereal ACTUALLY made it into her mouth.

Mack seemed to love her first sort-of meal. Good thing she had the HUGE bib that Uncle Dennis got her.

Bosley was lurking underneath the hight chair...praying for a "wardrobe malfunction" and the ensuing food waterfall. Not this time.

April 1st, 2006 - Mackenzie Says "Daddy"!!!

No, not really - April Fools!!

But she looked like she wanted too.

March 26th, 2006 - Mack Tries the Jedi Mind Trick on Bosley

"Go fetch me my favorite dangly, rattley, crinkley, fuzzy toy"

She has a long way to go in her use of the force, but she's working hard.

The trick seems to work far better on her parents. "Bring me wine glass".

March 25th, 2006 - Dude, Check Out My Ride!

Yes, Mackenzie has a new ride. Complete with coil-spring suspension, roll-cage, kickin' audio system...even fuzzy dice!

Well...that's not totally true. It does have bouncy springs, and it plays music when you hit some buttons, and the dice, well their more like fuzzy fish. Actually, they are fuzzy fish. And I think the roll cage is really just a place to hang the fuzzy fish. But it's still a pimpin' ride.

Mackenzie is quite happy with her excersaucer. She can spin around and play with a bunch of different toys, and either stand up or sit down. It's a lot easier to make dinner now as she keeps herself busy for several...minutes.

Yet another trait of daddy though - she seems intent on breaking all the little gizmos. She grabs on and pulls as hard as she can. Especially with the fish - I think she has issues with fish. Fishues? :)

March 19th, 2006 - Taming the Lion...

How could the beast not be tamed by this beauty?

Yes, it looks like Mack has her hand all the way into this lion colored dogs mouth, but she is actually just doing her usual routine of pulling on his lips, ears, neck, etc. He even grabbed a hold of his tounge once when he tried to lick her.

Bosley loves her too and is very gentle with her. Except with his tounge - he trys to lick her face off. I think he must think "Man, these babies take like milk!"

She is starting to try and get up on her knees now during tummy time. She picks up her rattle and toys and looks at them shortly before trying to eat them.
