October 30th, 2005 - Little Grandma and Little Mackenzie

Little grandma (the 4'11" one) saw Mackenzie for the first time this weekend. Mack went out with us to dinner two nights, including her first Sushi outing. She only had milk though :) Some rough nights as Mack has been a little colicy. Nothing a glass of wine won't fix!

October 24th, 2005 - Wake Up, Your Uncles Here!

Uncle Dennis had the day off and drove down to see his new niece. She was awake for a while, but fell into her usual after feeding coma. Dennis tried to rouse her, with little success.

Mackenzie will never have a problem getting a plane ride when she is older!

October 22nd, 2005 II - Like, wow man

Mackenzie seems to be quite fond of listening to Grand Funk Railroad in her little tie-dye that little grandma gave her. She also listened to some Gorrilaz this morning, but not sure she can appreciate them yet.

Thinking of getting her an Ipod Nano for the crib. :) Rock-a-bye Baby is getting old...

October 22nd, 2005 - 9 Mo. Abs

Yes, after a rigourous 9mo. gestational period,

you too could have these abs. 6-pack? Amatuers.

We're talking 24-pack on this beauty. Mackenzie will be releasing her first work out video shortly. She was doing some sit-ups with daddy this morning. E and J

October 21st, 2005 - I eat, therefore I poop

I know, I know, we already reported on Mack's pooping prowess, but man!! No doubt due to her growing feeding duration - she has been going 45 minutes "on-boob". Other than that, just a lot more sleeping.

How is it that babies can sleep in a position that would leave a normal human being with a celebrex dependancy?

October 20th, 2005 - Mackenzie's First Spa Day

Well, her first REAL spa day. To date, she has only had exfoliating herbal sponge treatments. Today was her first mineral water bath. Yeah right.

She loves baths though. The bath lasted about 15 min. About 5 min. to bathe, and about 10 minutes to take all the pictures. Then there was the drying-off. Similar - 1 min to dry, 5 min to get some pictures. Don't worry, the same does not apply to breast feeding.

Julie screamed "She's sucking her thumb!!" False alarm - the moons aligned and her mouth just happened to be open when she had one of her little reflex spasms and

shoved her little phalange in her mouth. Boy was it cute though.

Bosley, with his new puppy cut hair-do, was eager to help as usual and provided moral support.

October 19th, 2005 - Mackenzie Update

Let's see, what did Mackenzie do today. Um....she pooped, then she peed, then she pooped some more, just before pooping. Another poopy day.

Seemed more awake today - she's still in the sleep-is-the-default mode. Only woke up once last night and is sleeping good.

Oh, and look at the size of those flippers. Just like mom. Mom is hoping for some good arches so she can follow in the ballet footsteps, but it's not looking good. Should not, however, affect her future role as the first woman president of the united states, nor her stint as Space Shuttle Commander.

Julie's parents are here with us helping out for the week so we can figure out what the h&!*LL it is we are doing! We will get some more pics up after the weekend.
